About Kaitlin

Kaitlin Troop is a Registered Physiotherapist in the province of Alberta and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, prior to completing her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario. During her time in Ontario, Kaitlin completed the Level 1 Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. Kaitlin graduated in 2012 and she currently holds a full time physiotherapy position at the Foothills Medical Center.

Kaitlin has had experience working with a wide variety of conditions including cardiovascular conditions, stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, balance disorders, joint and muscle pain, tendonitis, sports injuries, and pre and post surgical rehabilitation.

Prior to working as a physiotherapist, Kaitlin worked as a Fitness Consultant and Group Exercise Leader with Health Systems Group in Calgary. In this role, she was responsible for performing routine fitness assessments, and she developed individualized exercise programs for clients of all ages.

Kaitlin is originally from Brandon, Manitoba but a love of the mountains brought her back to Calgary. She is an avid golfer and she has competed at the collegiate level in both the NCAA and NAIA. She has also competed in several professional events on Florida’s Sun Coast Women’s Tour and the CN Canadian Women’s Tour. When she’s not on the golf course, Kaitlin enjoys running, hiking, yoga, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
