Initial Assessment:

  • The initial assessment will take 45-60 minutes depending on the nature of your condition.
  • During the initial assessment, the therapist will ask you questions about your medical history, current condition, and goals for treatment.  This process generally takes 15-20 minutes to complete. The therapist will then perform a series of physical tests and measures which may include range of motion, strength, etc.  The therapist may repeat these measurements over time to monitor your progress.
  • Clients may be required to remove shirts for upper extremity issues, therefore females are encouraged to wear sports bras or sleeveless shirts.  For lower extremity issues, both males and females are encouraged to wear shorts.

  • Follow-up treatments will be 30 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on your personal preference and the recommendations made by the therapist.
  • The therapist will provide all the necessary equipment including a portable massage table, and exercise equipment.  The therapist will require roughly 4 x 8 feet of space for each treatment session.
  • The therapist may prescribe exercises, or make recommendations to enhance your recovery.  Individualized exercise programs can be created electronically and emailed for your convenience.
